- The Proprietors or Directors or Partners Residential Address Proofs through Voter Identification Cards, Adhaar Cards, Passports, etc.
- Registration Proof of GST or Sales Tax.
- The materials used for the packaging of the goods, such as stickers, Labels, etc., that are to be affixed with the packaged good.
- MoA of the Company.
- Partnership Deed in case of Partnership firms.
- The Code of Importation and Exportation.
Formal Passport Size Photographs of all the Directors or all the Partners or Proprietors of the Company that is to be combined of all the JPG image files into one JPG image file.

LMPC Import License Certification Registration Procedure
The application procedure for the LMPC Import License Certification varies from state to state. In some states, the application submission system is available online. Chapter 2 of the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 is exempted for -
- Packages weighing more than 25 kgs, or 25 litres, with the exemption of cement and fertiliser packages that are sold in packages of approximately 50 Kgs.
- Packages of Industrial Consumers or Institutional Consumers.
