Effective from April 01, 2020, our new privacy policy covers every TAXAJ website, Blogs and its products and services contained on those websites. These policies follow the same structure as this summary and constitute the actual legal document.
Our privacy commitment: TAXAJ has never sold your information to someone else for advertising. Taxaj will never make money by showing you other people's ads, and we never will. It has been our approach for almost five years, and we remain committed to it. This policy tells you about the information we collect from you, who can access it, what we do with it, and what you can do about it.

Part I – Information TAXAJ collects and controls
We collect the information that we require for our work. Most of that information is what you actively give us when you ask for work to be done, register for an intimation, ask for customer queries, or buy some services from Taxaj. We store your name and KYC information, but we don't store credit card numbers.When you visit Taxaj or use our Service, we automatically log some information like how you came into taxaj, where you navigated within our site, and the features and settings you are using. We use this information to improve Taxaj and services and to drive new service development.
Sometimes we receive information indirectly. For example, suppose you ask about our services through referral programs or reselling partners like LinkedIn or Google. In that case, they'll pass on your contact information to us as you have shared with them or have permitted them. We'll use that obtained information to complete the request that you made. In addition, if you engage with taxaj on social media (for instance, liking, commenting, retweeting, mentioning, or following us), we'll get access to the interactions and profile information that is already in the public domain. We keep the information so received in our database, and thus we will have that information for the time we keep our data save even if you later remove it from the social media site.
What we do with your information?
We use your information for the services you've requested, create and maintain your accounts with taxaj. We use it to communicate about your current services, your customer support requests, new services you may like, policy updates, and chances for feedback. We analyse the information to understand user needs and to improve our services.We're required to have a legal right for collecting and processing the information received. In most cases, we have your consent or need the information to provide the requested service. In another case, we must demonstrate the legal basis, such as our legitimate business interests.
You can decline certain kinds of information used by not providing the data first or opting out later. You can disable cookies to prevent your browser from giving us information, but certain website features may not work if you do so. We completely disable third-party cookies from all TAXAJ websites and products.
We limit access to your personal information to our employees and contractors who have a legitimate need to use it. Suppose we share your information with other parties (like developers, service providers, domain registrars, and reselling partners). In that case, they must have appropriate security measures to serve you and a valid reason for using your information.
The European Economic Area provides certain rights to data subjects viz. access, restriction of processing, erasure, data portability, rectification, and the right to object and complain). TAXAJ undertakes to provide you with the same rights as (EEA)no matter where you live.
We store personal information for the time being as required for the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy. When we no longer have a legitimate need to process your information, we will delete, anonymise, or isolate your information, whichever is appropriate.
Part II – Information that TAXAJ processes on your behalf
If you handle other people's data using TAXAJ apps, such as information about your customers or employees, you are entrusting that data to us for processing. If you use a TAXAJ mobile app and give the app access to your contacts and photo library, you entrust data to us. The data or files you provide us for processing is called client data.You own your service data for work purposes. We protect it with all of our resources, limit access to it, and only process it according to your instructions. You may access it, share it through third-party integrations, and request that we export or delete it.
We hold the data in your account as long as you choose to use TAXAJ Services. After you terminate your account, we automatically delete your data from our active database within six months and from our backups within three months after that.
Suppose you are in the European Economic Area and believe that someone has entrusted your information to us for processing (for example, your employer or a company whose services you use). In that case, you can request specific actions from us about your data. To exercise those data rights or legal action, please contact the person or company that entrusted the data to us, coz we won't be answerable to every employee of a particular company. We will inform you about your data source, and we will work with them on your request.
Part III – General
There are limitations to 'Privacy' we can promise you. We will disclose personal information to authorities if it's necessary. But be assured we will do this to comply with a legal obligation, prevent fraud, enforce an agreement, or protect our users' safety. We do not currently honour 'Do Not Track signals from random internet browsers, but when a universal standard for processing them will emerge, we will follow it.
Third-party websites and social media widgets have separate privacy policies, which is different from ours. Always check the relevant privacy policy from marketing websites before sharing personal information with them to sell data to various other parties and us.

Terms of Service Policy
Accepting the Terms
THIS IS AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU OR THE ENTITY THAT YOU REPRESENT (hereinafter “You” or “Your”) AND TAXAJ CORPORATE SERVICES LLP (hereinafter “TAXAJ”) GOVERNING YOUR USE OF TAXAJ’S WEBSITE & OFFERED SERVICES.
In order to use the Services, you must first agree to the Terms. You may not use the Services if you do not accept the Terms.
You accept the Terms by creating an account for services at any TAXAJ website.
You may not use the Services and may not accept the Terms if (a) you are not of legal age to form a binding contract with TAXAJ, or (b) you are not a resident of India.
Provision of the Services by TAXAJ
TAXAJ is constantly innovating in order to provide the best possible experience for its users. You acknowledge and agree that the form and nature of the Services which TAXAJ provides may change from time to time without prior notice to you.
As part of this continuing innovation, you acknowledge and agree that TAXAJ may stop (permanently or temporarily) providing the Services (or any features within the Services) to you or to users generally at TAXAJ's sole discretion, without prior notice to you. You may stop using the Services at any time. You do not need to specifically inform TAXAJ when you stop using the Services.
You acknowledge and agree that if TAXAJ disables access to your account, you may be prevented from accessing the Services, your account details or any files or other content which is contained in your account.
You agree to allow us to add you as a client on the Income Tax Department web services to submit ITR, retrieve ITR-V, refund status, 26AS, etc.
You acknowledge and agree that while TAXAJ may not currently have set a fixed upper limit on the number of transmissions you may send or receive through the Services or on the amount of storage space used for the provision of any Service, such fixed upper limits may be set by TAXAJ at any time, at TAXAJ’s discretion.
Use of the Services by you
In order to prepare your return, to file your return, to provide advice about tax matters, and/or to provide an audit defense service, you will need to provide information about your income, deductions, credits, dependents, etc. Collectively, this information is known as tax return information. In order to use TAXAJ Services, you will need to provide your tax return information. You agree that any information you give to TAXAJ will always be accurate, correct and up to date.
You agree to use the Services only for purposes that are permitted by (a) the Terms and (b) any applicable law, regulation or generally accepted practices or guidelines in the relevant jurisdictions (including any laws regarding the export of data or software to and from India).
You agree not to access (or attempt to access) any of the Services by any means other than through the interface that is provided by TAXAJ, unless you have been specifically allowed to do so in a separate agreement with TAXAJ. You specifically agree not to access (or attempt to access) any of the Services through any automated means (including use of scripts or web crawlers) and shall ensure that you comply with the instructions set out in any robots.txt file present on the Services.
You agree that you will not engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Services (or the servers and networks which are connected to the Services).
Unless you have been specifically permitted to do so in a separate agreement with TAXAJ, you agree that you will not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade or resell the Services for any purpose.
You agree that you are solely responsible for (and that TAXAJ has no responsibility to you or to any third party for) any breach of your obligations under the Terms and for the consequences (including any loss or damage which TAXAJ may suffer) of any such breach.
If you file tax returns for another individual, you should be doing so with the consensus of that individual after fully understanding the implications of this action. TAXAJ will not be held responsible if you are doing this without the knowledge / consensus of that person concerned.
Your passwords and account security
You agree and understand that you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of passwords associated with any account you use to access the Services.
Accordingly, you agree that you will be solely responsible to TAXAJ for all activities that occur under your account.
If you become aware of any unauthorised use of your password or of your account, you agree to notify TAXAJ immediately

Income Tax Return Correctness
TAXAJ takes great care in ensuring the correctness of your Income Tax Return. There are strong test suites and professionals (internal and third party) who work hard on ensuring the correctness of TAXAJ software. However, TAXAJ provides no guarantee or warranty on the correctness of your Income Tax Return. You are required to review your Income Tax Return for ensuring correctness. You will not hold TAXAJ responsible for any issue that arises from incorrect Income Tax Return filing.
EXCLUSION OF WARRANTIES
NOTHING IN THESE TERMS, SHALL EXCLUDE OR LIMIT TAXAJ’S WARRANTY OR LIABILITY FOR LOSSES WHICH MAY NOT BE LAWFULLY EXCLUDED OR LIMITED BY APPLICABLE LAW. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OR THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF CONTRACT OR BREACH OF IMPLIED TERMS, OR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. ACCORDINGLY, ONLY THE LIMITATIONS WHICH ARE LAWFUL IN YOUR JURISDICTION WILL APPLY TO YOU AND OUR LIABILITY WILL BE LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK AND THAT THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
IN PARTICULAR, TAXAJ, ITS SUBSIDIARIES AND AFFILIATES, AND ITS LICENSORS DO NOT REPRESENT OR WARRANT TO YOU THAT:
YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS,
YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE OR FREE FROM ERROR,
ANY INFORMATION OBTAINED BY YOU AS A RESULT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE, AND
THAT DEFECTS IN THE OPERATION OR FUNCTIONALITY OF ANY SOFTWARE PROVIDED TO YOU AS PART OF THE SERVICES WILL BE CORRECTED.
ANY MATERIAL DOWNLOADED OR OTHERWISE OBTAINED THROUGH THE USE OF THE SERVICES IS DONE AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RISK AND THAT YOU WILL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR COMPUTER SYSTEM OR OTHER DEVICE OR LOSS OF DATA THAT RESULTS FROM THE DOWNLOAD OF ANY SUCH MATERIAL.
NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, OBTAINED BY YOU FROM TAXAJ OR THROUGH OR FROM THE SERVICES SHALL CREATE ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED IN THE TERMS.
TAXAJ FURTHER EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
SUBJECT TO OVERALL PROVISION IN PARAGRAPH ABOVE, YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT TAXAJ, ITS SUBSIDIARIES AND AFFILIATES, AND ITS LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR:
ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES WHICH MAY BE INCURRED BY YOU, HOWEVER CAUSED AND UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY.. THIS SHALL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO, ANY LOSS OF PROFIT (WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY), ANY LOSS OF GOODWILL OR BUSINESS REPUTATION, ANY LOSS OF DATA SUFFERED, COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSS;
ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE WHICH MAY BE INCURRED BY YOU, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OR DAMAGE AS A RESULT OF:
ANY RELIANCE PLACED BY YOU ON THE COMPLETENESS, ACCURACY OR EXISTENCE OF ANY ADVERTISING, OR AS A RESULT OF ANY RELATIONSHIP OR TRANSACTION BETWEEN YOU AND ANY ADVERTISER OR SPONSOR WHOSE ADVERTISING APPEARS ON THE SERVICES;
ANY CHANGES WHICH TAXAJ MAY MAKE TO THE SERVICES, OR FOR ANY PERMANENT OR TEMPORARY CESSATION IN THE PROVISION OF THE SERVICES (OR ANY FEATURES WITHIN THE SERVICES);
THE DELETION OF, CORRUPTION OF, OR FAILURE TO STORE, ANY CONTENT AND OTHER COMMUNICATIONS DATA MAINTAINED OR TRANSMITTED BY OR THROUGH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES;
YOUR FAILURE TO PROVIDE TAXAJ WITH ACCURATE ACCOUNT INFORMATION;
YOUR FAILURE TO KEEP YOUR PASSWORD OR ACCOUNT DETAILS SECURE AND CONFIDENTIAL;
THE LIMITATIONS ON TAXAJ’S LIABILITY TO YOU IN PARAGRAPH 15.1 ABOVE SHALL APPLY WHETHER OR NOT TAXAJ HAS BEEN ADVISED OF OR SHOULD HAVE BEEN AWARE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF ANY SUCH LOSSES ARISING.
In addition, we reserve the right to terminate your user account and deny the Services upon reasonable belief that you have violated the Terms and to terminate your access to any Beta Service in case of unexpected technical issues or discontinuation of the Service. You have the right to terminate your user account if TAXAJ breaches its obligations under these Terms and in such event, you will be entitled to prorated refund of any prepaid fees. Termination of user account will include denial of access to all Services, deletion of information in your user account such as your email address and password and deletion of all data in your user account.

Refunds and Cancellation.
Questions about refunds and cancellations should be addressed to connect@taxaj.com. After a computation or documents prepared at our end to provide your service has been made, no refund shall be made. For assisted plans, you can cancel your payment or request a refund before the expert assigned has commenced working on your case & the refund shall be processed in 5 working days.
17. Additional Terms for Investment Advisory Services:
The terms set out in this clause apply in addition to the Terms contained in Clauses 1 to 14, if the User opts for investment advisory services
17.1 The Registered User acknowledge and agree that all ‘Investment Advisory’ services are provided through Right Horizons which is registered as an investment advisor with SEBI.
17.2 The Company is only acting as a technology facilitator for the investment advisory services wherein the role of the Company is limited to the extent of providing the Platform to the Registered User. Any transaction in respect of investment advisory services is strictly a bilateral transaction between Right Horizons and them.
17.3 Any information in relation to the investment advisory services is received from Right Horizons and is displayed on an “as is” basis on the Platform. The Company is not in any manner responsible for the accuracy, and completeness of such information. The provision of the investment advisory services through the Platform and display of such information received from the Right Horizons shall not in any manner constitute any recommendation, advice or opinion being given by the Company.
17.4 Right Horizons is solely responsible for providing the investment advisory services to the Registered User and for compliance with applicable law including SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013 (including amendments) and the Company shall not be in any manner held responsible and liable for the quality of service (including deficiency) rendered by Right Horizons to them.
17.5 The terms of the Investment Advisory Services Agreement between Right Horizons and the Registered User shall additionally apply for availing investment advisory services.
17.6 You acknowledge, agree and authorise, the Company and Right Horizons to collect, store, process your information and further transferring and sharing information (including personal information) with third parties including, payment gateways, banks, KYC Registration, and other entities for the purpose of the Services.
17.7 The Company is constantly innovating in order to provide the best possible experience for its users. You acknowledge and agree that the form and nature of the Platform and Services which it provides may change from time to time without prior notice to you.
17.8 As part of this continuing innovation, you acknowledge and agree that the Company may stop (permanently or temporarily) providing the Platform or Services (or any features within the Services) to you or to users generally at the Company's sole discretion, without prior notice to you. You may stop using the Services at any time. You do not need to specifically inform the Company when you stop using the Services.
17.9 You acknowledge and agree that if the Company disables access to your account, you may be prevented from accessing the Services, your account details or any files or other content which is contained in your account.
