| GST | Goa's GST state code is 30. Hotel rooms up to ₹7,500 a night are taxed at 5% without input tax credit; above that 18% with credit. Full hospitality rate table. |

Which RoC does a Goa company register with?
With the Registrar of Companies, Goa. Regional Director matters go to the Regional Director, Western Region-I at Mumbai, which since 16 February 2026 covers Mumbai, Mumbai Suburban, Goa and Daman and Diu.
Do I need tourism registration to let my villa to tourists in Goa?
Yes. Accommodation let to tourists, including villas and homestays, must be registered with the Department of Tourism under the Goa Registration of Tourist Trade Act, 1982. GST is a separate question that depends on your turnover and on whether you sell through an online platform.
Is liquor sold in a Goa restaurant taxed under GST?

Can an NRI or foreign national work with you without coming to Goa?
Yes. Most of our NRI and foreign clients never visit. We handle documents through our secure portal and keep you updated on WhatsApp and email.
