Who handles your company in Himachal Pradesh
| Himachal Pradesh | |
|---|---|
| Registrar | RoC-cum-Official Liquidator, Himachal Pradesh, at Shimla, for the whole state |
| Regional Director | Northern Region-II, Chandigarh (since 16 February 2026) |
| GST state code | 02 |
| Professional tax | Not levied in Himachal Pradesh |
What is different for a Himachal company
- One Registrar at Shimla. A registered office move within the state never needs the Regional Director; moving in from Delhi, Punjab or Haryana does, through Form INC-23 at Chandigarh.
- Land shapes the minutes. A company is a non-agriculturist under section 118 of the HP Tenancy and Land Reforms Act, 1972, so any land purchase needs State Government permission first, and the board resolutions for the application and the purchase have to follow it. See our section 118 guide.
- No professional tax. There is no PT registration or deduction for staff working in Himachal.
- Hotels and tourism companies also carry state tourism registration renewals, which we track on the same calendar as the ROC dates.

How it works
- Health check. We pull your company's master data and filing history from the MCA portal and list anything overdue.
- Fixed quote. One price for the year, or per filing, before any work starts.
- Calendar set. Every due date goes on our compliance calendar, with reminders to you a month ahead.
- We draft, you sign. Minutes, resolutions and forms come to you for digital signature; we file and send the challans.
