Not sure? Our CA will identify the right form →
The new regime (default since FY 2023-24) offers zero tax up to ₹12L with 87A rebate and a higher ₹75,000 standard deduction — best if your total deductions are below ₹3.75L. The old regime allows 80C (up to ₹1.5L), HRA, 80D, home loan interest — best if deductions exceed ₹3.75L. Use our free Income Tax Calculator to compare both. TAXAJ's CA computes both as part of every filing — included in the fee, no extra charge.
Yes — file ITR-2. TAXAJ's CA will reconcile your broker P&L with AIS and Form 26AS, compute LTCG (12.5% above ₹1.25L) and STCG (20%) accurately, handle grandfathering for pre-2018 equity, and ensure carry-forward of any capital losses. Use our Cost Inflation Index Calculator for property/gold gains first. Learn more about capital gains filing →
Yes. Professionals with gross receipts below ₹75 Lakh can use Section 44ADA presumptive taxation — declare 50% of receipts as income, no books required. File ITR-4 (Sugam). Also use our Advance Tax Calculator to compute your quarterly advance tax liability — senior citizens aged 60+ without business income are exempt from advance tax. Gross receipts above ₹75L require books and possible audit — file ITR-3 instead.
HRA exemption under Section 10(13A) is only available under the Old Tax Regime. The exempt amount is the lowest of: (1) Actual HRA received, (2) 50% of Basic+DA (metro) or 40% (non-metro), (3) Rent paid minus 10% of Basic+DA. Use our free HRA Calculator to compute your exempt HRA. Then generate rent receipts online free → If annual rent exceeds ₹1 Lakh, landlord PAN is mandatory. During ITR filing, you simply enter HRA received and exemption amount — no document upload required at the portal, but keep receipts for scrutiny.
The Income Tax Act 2025 replaced the Income Tax Act 1961, effective 1 April 2026. However, FY 2025-26 (AY 2026-27) filing is still governed by the Income Tax Act 1961 — the new Act applies from Tax Year 2026-27 onwards. Key renaming: Form 16 → Form 130, Form 26AS → Form 168. For FY 2025-26, use Form 16, AIS, and standard ITR forms as before. TAXAJ's CA team is fully updated on both the old and new Act.
Flat fees: ITR-1 from ₹499 · ITR-2 with capital gains from ₹1,499 · Freelancer ITR-4 from ₹999 · NRI filing from ₹2,999 · IT notice reply from ₹1,999. All fees are disclosed upfront before you start. No office visit required. 100% digital process: submit request → CA calls within 2 hours → share documents via WhatsApp or portal → CA reviews and shares computation → you approve → ITR filed and e-verified → acknowledgement on email. Most filings complete within 24–48 hours of receiving all documents. TAXAJ serves clients across Delhi, Bangalore, Goa, Bihar, and all of India.
