ESIC Registration & Employer Login — Process & Compliance
Employers covered by the ESI scheme must register on the ESIC portal and use the employer login to file monthly contributions and manage employees. This is the employer-side registration (distinct from an employee’s IP registration). This guide covers ESIC registration and portal login for employers.
Who must register for ESIC?
ESI registration is generally mandatory for establishments employing 10 or more employees (the threshold is 20 in a few states/categories), where employees earn wages up to ₹21,000 per month (₹25,000 for employees with disability). Registration must be obtained within the prescribed time of becoming coverable. See ESIC registration.
