How to Check LLP Incorporation Status on the MCA Portal
After applying to incorporate an LLP, or when doing due diligence on an existing one, you can check its status on the MCA portal — whether it’s active, its LLPIN, date of incorporation and master data. This guide shows how to check LLP incorporation status.
Check LLP master data on the MCA portal
- Go to the MCA portal (mca.gov.in).
- Open MCA Services → Master Data → View Company / LLP Master Data.
- Enter the LLPIN (LLP Identification Number) or search by LLP name, complete the captcha, and submit.
- The page shows the LLP’s status (Active/Under Process/Strike-off), date of incorporation, registered office, designated partners and other master data.
Track a pending incorporation (SRN status)
If you’ve just filed the incorporation form (FiLLiP) and are waiting, track it via MCA Services → Track SRN / Transaction Status using the SRN generated on filing. The status moves from “Pending for approval” to “Approved” once the Certificate of Incorporation and LLPIN are issued.
Check name availability / reservation
If you’re at the name stage, the RUN-LLP reservation status is tracked the same way via the SRN. A reserved name is valid for a limited period within which you must file FiLLiP.
